Welcome to the 34 Drive-in Theatre,
Located here in Earlville,
Illinois !
Built in 1953 and opened since 1954,
this outdoor
big screen has been
showing movies for over 40 years
We Show our Friday
through Sunday,
April through October
( some times longer if Weather
permits )
Showing 2 features with a cartoon and previews
beforehand.
Our box office opens about 6:30 / 7:30 P.M. and the
feature starts as it is dark enough.
The grounds are all
grass,
so bring your blankets and Lawn chairs
to relax out under the
stars !
Oldies play over a "nostalgic"
wired speakers and every
one has fun before the movie begins.
We have a "Full Menu" concession stand,
With food being
cooked to order ( Your patience Please !!! ). Selections include:
fried shrimp
or fried chicken dinners, sandwiches, green river soda,
snacks and the best movie popcorn around With Nothing but "REAL
BUTTER " on it ! ... plus much more.
We carry 34 drive in souvenir buttons and magnets ... a selection of hand crafted jewelry, and for extra entertainment a pool table and miscellaneous video games.
Customers may come in while the first feature is running and get a tour of the projection booth from myself, and an explanation of how it all works ! ( along with a little history about the theater itself.)

We are located just west of Earlville ( or 8 Miles East of Mendota on rt 34 ) , so take I-39 to RT 34 and head towards Earlville ... you will see our 60x90 foot screen looming off route 34.
We also welcome car clubs that would like to come and spend an evening outdoors ... with advanced notice we can include you in our weekly advertising or monthly newsletter.
